Dedicated to magic mushroom collectors who look for the answers to the universe over the meadow.

Poem Artwork

Shroom gimmie shroom
Gimmie gimmie one more shroom.
Looking in your basket cos you know
there's loads more room.

Ignore all the tourists as they don't know what you're doing.
You only need two more, then it's mushroom tea you're brewing.

Shrooming is cheap you won't have to pay a penny.
These shrooms are rare, could be, you won't find any.

Sipping the tea, as you sit back on the bed.
catching the breeze and the colours in your head.

Visible echos flicker off, unpainted walls.
Feel hurried heartbeats, as your pulse goes up then falls.

This is the trip that you chose to Brew then learn.
This is your brain ripping,
You will not return.

Asking the question how things went this far.
Making shaking magic mushrooms
Unconscious in your car.

Police sirens paramedics everything seems fuddled.
Those last two picked were deadly
Just how did you get them muddled?

It's useless now to tell you as I end this fatal verse.
You won't hear a word, you are now the universe.

Wow! You have, as if by experience, shown the path that some follow to try to get a new kind of high, only to find that they have accidentally received a real downer. Cool and cold stone realistic.

I really enjoy eating mushrooms bought in the store, not gathered. Like opium, I have never been intrigued by the magical mystery tours touted by mushrooms or any other psychedelic drug.

Ha!

A FUNNY poetic jingle!

Reminds me of the 60's when they were trying to smoke everything from mushrooms to bananas.

They are probably just as magical as any other brew. Half the thrill is to not get caught by a cop or your mother. So this stuff was cheap and legal so it never became a hit! Makes one wonder....
