'Perchance to dream.' "Aye there's the rub, for in that sleep of death what dreams may come must give us pause. That's what makes calamity of such long life. For who would fardels bear to grunt and sweat under a weary life, but that the dread of something after death; the undiscovered country from whose borne no traveller returns puzzles the will and makes us rather bear the ills we have than fly to others we know not of. Soft you now! The fair Ophelia. Nymph in thy orisions be all thy sins remembered."
Well I tried Kate. You even make the ordinary scenes of life take on a magic in my heart. 'Perchance to dream.' - triggered this outburst. I know it is not an exact quote of 'Billy Boy' - but it has been a very long time since I read him. But my ancestors came over from England on the boat, "Tar And Feather Brigade" and where slightly daffy. You make the commonplace intrinsic in a laughable sort of way. The over the commode scene in the bathroom tells all. Keep a stiff upper lip and write on dear Lady. things will get better, for it's only Monday. Hugs and whatever xx Bill
Boozing barbecue boasting
British brandishments
Beefing-up the bellicose
Bottling the brain
I understand you Brits much better now, Kate. Thanks! And a delightful write.

I must truly be a crackpot, Kate...as I dearly LOVE Mondays,
and the beginning of another week in the garden, at the PC,
photographing butterflies and birds...in peace and quiet.
Your poem was excellent, and the alliteration slid around on
the brain, like honey on one's tongue.
Fractured Frazzled Folk Fables and Fairy Farces is adult literature that satirizes famous children's stories, fables and fairy tales. The work is Jay Dubya's twenty-first e-book available in Amazon Kindle and Barnes and Noble Nook.
my tangue's all tongueled :) bleah!!!
adored this write--very cleverly composed, created, concocted
(((HUGS))) and love, karla. :)
Must be a sign, the end is nigh. Wouldn't Henry V be more appropriate than Hamlet.
But my St George flag, stands proud, between windows.
