Ah yes... the silly and saintly season is upon us, Folks... This may be a travesty of what we know Christmas to be all about, but such is life, no? Will work on a contrasting piece that is somewhat less bah humbug... :)) May the innocent awe and wide-eyed imagination of the child stir our world-weary and bleary souls this Christmastime. Having finally gotten to this one well past the season, i thnk it may hold ever more humor retrospectively...clever becomes you Kate nd I can only imagine the twinkle in your eye when you wrote this...even Santa gives a nod up the chimney and Rudolph's in bed with his nose and the flu...Ha...only eleven months til the next go round.

Lol no he doesn't, I asked him last Saturday when I found the fat bloke in a red suit hiding out in Conisbrough Castle...actually for a reindeer he's [Ruldolph] quite erudite, although he doesn't know very much about life in general, but is well up on navigational skills. LOL

One cannot but admire your sincerity. I have long refused to give presents at Christmas except monetary ones. Let others go to the shops when there are the sales. They get a better bargain and perhaps concentrate on what Christmas is really about. However I like our get togethers and the church services. Victor
Loved this write Kate...December is a mad, mad month...I heard a comment yesterday while I was shopping and today "I can't wait until it's over" both people were referring to Christmas, shouldn't be that way...but what do ya do? Great write!
