My Little Fish

What do you call this... besides hyperbole... hyper-somethin, anyways!? And Ode? Not sure... but it came to me from just the single thought: "My Little Fish!" And inspired by the poem "You're" by Sylvia Plath. :)) xx

MY LITTLE FISH

See, my darling, how waters combine,
conduct us: flow over, between us,
through!

How they gather latent in all heaven
and ominous beneath the earth,
charging our veins with power!

Oh, my Little Fish!
I am silvered from the zeal
of your muscled flanks;
my body shimmers the length
of your undulating spine.

Let me not always watch for you,
my face ever pressed against
the heady swim of glass.

Come! Suckle now my lips
with your tiny minnow kisses;
lay your bubble breath within that
I may rise on your shining spawn.

Barren is my oyster bed unless
your dorsal trawls me, your love
the pulsing pearl plucked live
from my deeply cushioned shell,
its phosphorescence glowing
in dark canyon of my throat.

Charming Little Fish of a poem. Really like it; deep, but light at the same time. Can see that fish blowing you bubbles of love in his bowl, and swimming with delight as your long water hands stroke his dorsal fin.

How in the hell do you come up with viable comments after that witch Sage has been wallowing around in the friggin' fish pond? Jeez!!! I HAT having to follow here . . . She makes most of us reveal out pure amateur state after she gets through with it . . .

The thing is I see this as an attempt to go back to the depths of the ocean where many people believe we have sprung from . . . You certainly do become erotic as you press those lips against that glass, asking, nay, begging for a little scaly tongue to come your way . . . Me? Who am I to argue, I've always been partial to busty mermaids . . .

My Little Fish aims its squirt! That last stanza is the most erotic communication on this board! The archerfish stuns with a sudden blast of water, and aims its squirt by watching the more experienced fish perform the task. I had to say it, it's the voyeur in me...indeed, if you want the pearl, you must first pry open the oyster...we do hundreds of trials getting better over time...as we learn how to learn...metaphors swim deep here, Kate! The evolution of your poetic neural powers - make use of that dorsal tool...

Love,
Sage
