No more NaPoWriMo –
I am NaPoWriMo-free!

I’ve made the score,
am out the door
and heading for the sea! :)) xx

My birthday in the sunshine
where wind* and light* are strong
is what’s kept my nose to grindstone –
well, you knew that all along!

I love to write the prose and verse
wot dribbles out my head
but knowing it’s a “got-to”-thing
just kills the Muse stone-dead.

May 4th I’ll raise a glass to me
for seeing the project through –

but especially, Friends,
for your support,
I’ll raise a glass TO YOU!!!!!

* = “Rioja”
* = “Sambucar”!

Hasta la vista, Amigo/as!
See you soon! :)) xx

...and she goes out with a big bang! I second the emotion entirely! I've never in my life found it so difficult to write. Something happens when you force the muse. Ciao, Amiga and bon voyage. Fill your half-full glass another half full of sun and inspiration. --Charlie

Kate, your title would appear to suggest the sudden release of a great burden, what -- finis! -- you did the thing with grace and style my friend -- three cheers -- and a wish for a relaxed and enjoyable birthday celebration - peace and love be always with you -- Jon Michel
