Am I my Brother's Keeper , she said to her God,
Yes you are My Child , and so is every One .
A freckle of my Love , is enough to save the World ,
And you will find Salvation , shining in the Morning Star .
Why are thou so downcast , and heavy in your Heart .
My Lord I have erred , West of Eden is my Fate .
But surely there's a Way back , to Paradise that's Lost ,
For I have nothing left , but a Teardrop in my Soul .
Take my Hand and Realise , there is a Path of Return ,
Look into my Eyes , and see my Passion Burn .
For you Sweet Child in Time ,
I will show the Way .
An inspirational write to behold - "West of Eden" delivers ... poetic magic, my friend!!
Best wishes,
Robert

I had a friend once write - "East of Eden and West of Hell"...this title caught my attention. I like that you have incorporated the spiritual in this poem.

an amazing, uplifting write, despite the teardrops in my soul image--such hope powerfully expressed--well done, poet!
