hatched and designed on lofty Mount Olympus
you passed your first test by ferrying the disguished Oueen Hera
across the wild and stormy torrents
and then set off on the magnificent trail of the Golden Fleece
with your assembled and brave Argonauts
including Heracles the great, and Atalanta the beautiful
you were divinely sponsored by the Goddess Athena
this patroness of crafts, gave you a wise, talking prow
you conquered the wicked women Harpies
and navigated the treachorous waters of the Clashing Rocks
the Goddess of Love Aphrodite rewarded your valour
by making King Aeetes's daughter Medea fall for your charms
her sorcery enabled you to overcome the Fire breathing Bulls
and tricked the Seed Men with psychology
and together in the sacred precinct of Ares, god of war
you's subdued the Dragon in the temple grove
and secured the greatest prize of them all
the mythical Golden Fleece of the Gods
and returned to Greece in triumphant fanfare
Jason and Medea that victorious pair
blessed and honoured by the Gods
you reclaimed your rightful throne
