Not quite sure where this one came from but I am sure my muse had some message involved here...

Poem Artwork

The Cycle

If I offered to walk on the rays of the sun

To dance on the moonbeams

Till the stars are all one

To hold to a moment

As the seconds tick by

Well you breach heaven’s gates

With your own sweet, sweet sigh

If I catch teardrops that fall from your eyes

Like saved pennies in jar

Nobody wants them

They don’t go too far

Bring me a hug from your Angel’s domain

Then by your side I’ll always remain

Now I lay me down with wolves

In the womb of the beast

My hunger forgotten

As silent they feast

You gave me your blessing, anointed in sin

Come to me, come to me

Let the cycle begin

Oooooo ... what transitions of mood and circumstance prevail in this mysterious write, Felix... The sweetness of longing can sure turn to dust and ashes if left unrequited, or if the fulfillment in some way makes a travesty of the expectation. But there is a deeper sinister element to this, almost psychotic, I think. Fascinating and a bit scary... You do light, dark and all shades in between so well... And always visceral. TY Kate xx

drawn into a realm where he not normally would go
pull yourself in and enjoy the ride
let the tears of some other fall on your insides
hungry like the wolf?

Fee,

EXCELLENT. Who knows which direction the Muse will go? Just flow with it, sometimes the best poetry is written that way. As this is! Well done!
