I visited with my friend Doug this afternoon and though sedated with pain killers I spoke my final words to him, a short time after I left, I received the call saying he had passed on peacefully.
I will miss him and mourn him but will also smile remembering the many happy times we shared.
He is at peace now..His body had passed on but his soul/spirit lives on, in your heart and those who loved him. Always remember the good times and keep his spirit alive as long as you live, and he surely lives onward, my friend...
Peace, Love, and Light, in your hours of grief, know that you are cared about and loved...

A bitter sweet moment for he is in a better place and you have had the time to heal between you. Sorry to hear in one way yet I know what it must feel like. Lady J
Darling cuz, I am so sorry for your loss, but remember he is gone to a much better place, a place that we all hope to go. He is no longer suffering. What a treasure it was to have the chance to be close once again and that you got to spend your moments with him before he took his final sleep. You were his special friend I am sure as you are special to so many with that big heart of yours. God is now with him and with you my darling cousin.
Darlin Pops... xxxxxxxxxooooooooxxxxxxxxxx. This will be hard for you, but not as hard as if you had not been able to be reconciled to him in the most wonderful ways that you have been (am I right about this?? I seem to remember there had been a rupture in your relationship a little while back... forgive me if I'm wrong)... and what a comfort and a privilege to be able to share with him so close to the end. My hunch is that your restored love and respect for each other would have gone a very loooooooooooooong way to "all being well" with and for him as this chapter of his days closes. You are a loving and brave man. And your support to his family at this time will be so meaningful. Your actions speak volumes as well as your heartfelt and humbling words. May you, too, be at peace. All is well. Love and BIG hugs, Little Kate xx
I am so sorry to hear about your friend but We are sure he is no longer suffering in pain for I believe there is a better place in which he is sharing right this moment. My thoughts and heart is with you, do take care.
