Just remembering the past a little...
The Words On My Lips Its two steps forward and one step back If you want to reach my heart You see it�s just a little battle scarred From when she broke it all apart I hold you close, say you�re the most You look at me kind of sad I know deep down you want to hear Those three words that she once had I know deep down you�re not like her The past should be in the past You shouldn�t pay for her mistake Yet this time I want a love to last I brush a lonely teardrop from your cheek Stroke your hair with my fingertips Hope the words I find so hard to say Are in the kiss upon my lips!

Actions to me SPEAK louder than any words ever could!!
If a Man truly loves you, he will show it, and will not waver from it, with distractions of other fair maidens, not even for vanities sake.
Those three little words will never again be uttered from my lips...unless perchance a miracle happens, and I find the one in a million man, who keeps his eyes afixed firmly upon the one he deems to be his great love.

Oh Fee,
We try to forget the past transgressions, but when you find a new love, it is very difficult to avoid the trap of falling into past transgressions...
Anyway, thank you for this tender poem, I hope one of these days you will be able to tell her those three words that women really do need to hear from their love's lips and heart..Please don't say them if you don't feel them, that is the worst thing any man can do to a woman.
