I guess I am a hopeless romantic-married to the saem man for 24 years but I still send a Christmas card to some ex-boy friends. Letting go is hard-at least it is for me but you are right-it can be the right thing to do and no sense taking the low road with it.

This is wisely written, Fee! How sad that some marriages aren't founded on friendship/trust/respect...then comes love and marriage. Bouncing bedpartners just won't make it...and best to part in peace.

Yes, sometimes it's for the best. When there's nothing left to the magic it's time to face reality. Peace, Love and Blessings Always, Paul.

Love sound very similar to Lust which a white wedding dress with a five layers wedding cake and two hundred invited, church's bells and a limo with a Just Married and a bunch of empty cans can blind anyone, and when they open the eyes theyr marriage goes sour, like that wiskey on the rocks.

It took my ex-husband 8 long years until he was able to be friends with me after our divorce. Now, I kind of wish he was still pissed off at me so he'd leave me alone! ;) lol hugs to you my sweet friend ...
