Star God Warrior

By: Fee

The sad child cried out in the darkness

Alone, frightened, and without a Star

For the Star shone o’er the church people

Most sacred, holy, adored from afar

The lost child sought for just a little love

Some food, warmth and a hug or two

But the people prayed to there star God

Pious, Christian, oh so blessed it’s true

The hurt child asked for so very little

But there Star demanded so much time

So the people offered up a token pittance

Thinking how bright our Star does shine

One day the angry child grew to be a man

And in manhood found his own Star

The people cried and screamed don’t hurt us

A rifle blast answered from his Star…

Oh Goodness Fee!! I agree with Michelle,
where, oh where is the hostility of vengeance going to shine? Nowhere answered the Star of Hope, those shooting fires are but sparks from the pits of hell...It is a good message Fee, that our children need love so no-one is lost to demise & the reprisals within anger’s revenge...they are depleted when left alone
without love’s guidance (Star)

Powerful write, Fee. Bless the children who need so little and don't even get that. I think more and more are becoming aware of how the collective all of us have ignored these needs too long. I feel a change coming. Excellent write. Liz

Fee,
You know I write for the abused children, how sad that they are ignored, sometimes hit on, and verbally abused. They grow up angry and bitter and do the same to their own kids. I liked your version, clever and thought provoking.

Blessings and huggs,
~Linda

Since Columbine to the last Findland school massacre we have been informed that those pushed from our colective gang midst are 90% in the risk zone of becoming deranged by isolation, paranoids and wishing to going with a bang to be noticed.
Yes, childs ask for so little, if we insist in ignoring them we can't expect a normal response in their future...

Yes Fee, totally sad but true, children ask for so little and sometimes completely ignored and grow up with extreme anger for the loss of love and understanding. What a write you created here, it reaches out and grabs the heart and gives it a jolt. Love and hugs, Bonnie
