Offended? Oh heavens NO! ha ha ha Reminds me of a poem I wrote to the tune of O Christmas Tree entitled O Satan Claws! Being new and unexperienced on the "flavor" of this site, I didn't post. This is too true in content and colorful in visuals!!! Glad I read it.

There are alot of kids out there who are very selfish and made that way by their parents, A great write to let parents know they are doing WRONG.

there are so many who are selfish and truly deserving of this write--we surely seem to have raised a generation who is very self centered and ungrateful--thankfully there are those who still diplay values and innocence-i hang onto those stories--good write!

This is wonderful. Children now miss all the old fashion things that we used to do. They only want WII and other games like xbox. I can remember playing board games with my son and having a "family" night

Oh my, lmao for real. I love this, it's sooo on the money! Not the kids fault, though. parents should teach kids that happiness is not in receiving material things. Stop giving in to the commercialism!, it teaches kids to be greedy. sad but true. Very enjoyable, Fee!

Parents and grandparents can't take all the blame. Every other commercial is aimed at kids this time of year. When I was a kid, I was thankful for 1-5 gifts. I never expected much - maybe a record or some crayons with a coloring book. Nowadays things are more advanced & far more expensive. As a kid, I never would have dreamed of receiving a $100. gift. Now it's commonplace! Let's face it; the stores are winning. Love this poem. So true:)
