Pearl Clark, 92 years young, mother of eight, grandmother of 27 and great grandmother and grest great grandmother passed away this morning at 4:45 with me at her side...and yes the poem is right I did sing her a few old songs and she enoyed it. Thanks for all your continued support.

Pearl’s Hymn

By: son in law fee

You know last night in a sterilel room

Between an electronic blip and bleep

I sang to you the hymn Amazing Grace

Held back my urge to wail and weep

I brushed back a strand of gray hair

Then held your tiny hand so very frail

I tried to keep my weary eyes wide open

I laid my cheek on the cold bed rail

I recalled our many memories shared

All the good times and yes the bad

I whispered Momma you can go now

Please don’t worry if I’ll be a little sad

I sang to you the Old Rugged Cross

For a moment closed my tired, weary eyes

That was when the Angels came for you

In my dreams you said your sweet goodbyes
