It is time for me to take a break from writing and the den. For my own personal reasons I can no longer post or review any longer on this site. I have been here a long time and had a lot of good memories that I have shared with many. I want to say thank you to all my friends and loyal supporters on Authors Den and wish you all the best of luck in your futures as writers.
Felix,for many reasons I need not burden you with, this is the first time I have read your notice. I was in the process of getting ready to contact you to see why I could find no new posts when this caught my attention. Know that I will miss your wonderful poetry and uplifting sense of humor. You brought a special character to the den that will not be replaced, the uniqueness of the marvelous person that is you. I can only hope that you will be very happy and some day decide to return to your family here in the den. To share your talents and perspectives with us. I have sat back from rushing in with huge outpourings of gush and denial, darlin Felix. Oh, I've wanted to, alright... but what can I say that hasn't already been said so many times and by so many... everyone, in fact?? YOU ARE LOVED. You know that. And this is hard for you, too - I can tell by the "formal speak" you write in above! So, along with everyone else, I don't want this to be "it" for your time with us here. It can't be: we're family and family may walz in and breeze off as and when, as life and seasons dictate... but the moment they "hit the page" once more it is as if time itself has stood still and there has never been any gap, any distance or delay. Take as much time as you need, Pops, and I'm sure you're reading nonetheless! But come back to us soon... or at least as soon as you are good and ready. The door is WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE open and we're jointly keeping your seat and place warm for you. And a candle at the window.
