I think this is self explanatory...as life should be.

“I look beyond mere appearances.”

Cooed the dove to the raven’s ear

“I see a heart that’s kind and loving,

I’d be proud to have you near.”

 

“What about what others say?”

Love struck raven spoke again

“Say we can never share a love,

I'd only bring you hurt and pain.”

 

“It matter not what others say.”

Dove replied in the blink of an eye

“It only matters what is in our hearts

If we have love we’ll soar and fly.”

 

“Yes my dove lets spread our wings”

Said raven to his one and only love

“My heart will be yours forever

I am the raven you are the dove.”

 

 

　

　

　

　

 

 

“How could you truly want me?”

Said the raven to the dove

“I am dark and despised,

while you are pure as love.”

Love this, Felix. I wrote a poem along similar lines about Beauty And The Beast... and yes, it is extra-specially telling and spell-bindingly beautiful when such unions take place. If only this could be replicated in the larger world around us... Bless your heart xx
