Hellfire's ebon clouds herald disastor
land of the midnight sun
black birds rule the sky
the end is the beginning
perhaps its far too late
to even question why
all roads lead to nowhere
we never truly learned
on angel's wings to fly
man-child in the darkness
feels El Diablo's cold caress
for he who'll testify
running far in circles
those who cannot touch the ground
frightened by the last outcry...

This poem involves age-old theories and dark secrets, which, also in my opinion, have yet to be answered, but we need to keep asking them nonetheless.
Dark chords leave room for resolution.
Feel better- but no need to write better.
Well done,
John
