You’ll see me in the moon at night
glimpse me in a shooting star
smiling from a passing cloud
You’ll sense me in an autumn breeze
a breaking wave on a beach
perhaps a face in the crowd
You’ll touch my tears on your pillow
the whisper of a weeping willow
a red rose in a flower cart
You’ll crave my love again someday
like a lost truth for your soul
something missing in your heart
I’ll be in the wings just out of sight
a ghost doing what I have to do
