I am the life and the light
He said to me in a dream
I prayed and I prayed
and He has ansswered.

The God of my belief
has given me this soul
in this body for a reason
and mine is not to question why.

He has given me a life to live
and put stumbling blocks
in my way to see how
I would be able to survive.

As I continue to pray
He continues to make my
life easier and lighter
through my faith in Him.

My God, the God of all creation
has given me a goal to complete
and watches how I journey
to that goal so I may be whole.

He shows me how to walk, to run,
and how to have fun
He also shows me what I am
supposed to write.

He has given me a purpose
so that His word about
those like me
may be understood.

Do not discount or debunk
His words that I write
because God does not make junk\
and He is not finished with me.

Please understand that what I write
may come up and bite
you right in the butt
but that is the price of education.

The God of all creation
makes up the whole equation
of the life each of us
must strive to live.

Each one of us must follow
our own path to our final
destination of going home
to the mansion He has set up for us.

But if you judge me harshly
because of your own insecurities
you cannot be called Christian
but a doubter of the truth.

Know that God has put me
on this earth to teach others
about those like me and will
not take me home until I succeed.
