We have both been sick for two weeks with this terrible illness! Finally it's effects are going away........ Oh, Happy Day!

The mighty flu has come to town.
It's been attacking almost
everyone around.

It doesn't matter if a person
is young or old. The flu overpowers
and really takes hold.

We've been coughing and achey,
with runny noses galore. No one is
invited to OUR front door.

We went to the Doctor and received
antibiotic shots.
The trip was in vain for they helped us naught.

Two Z packs were ordered to help
save the day.
They made us worse in many, many ways.

I've cleaned and sprayed almost
every thing we touch.
Onions are all around ,but don't help very much.

Three cans of Lysol virus and bacterial
spay have not gone to waste.
Good ole Chicken Noodle Soup has had no taste.

I've been doing excess laundry day
in and day out, trying to kill
extra germs that are lying about.

Hand sanitizer is in every room.
Some days are filled with dismay
and utter gloom.

We called our Doctor to let her know
about our continued plight.
She ordered CIPRO , which is oblong and pure white.

It's good affects are finally starting to take ahold.
We're feeling better as each new day unfolds.

Soon Mister flu bug will be gone far away.
I pray he's permanently disabled and never comes again to stay.......
