From infancy until maturity,

I depended on my parents;

I listened to their views and opinions,

in or out of tune,

in no predictable pattern or fashion;

advice, rules and spankings

were received routinely on a daily basis.

Through we must live by trial and error.

I’ve crawled…stumbled into trouble…,

traveled many highways…,

I’ve taken many right and wrong routes.

Life is actually similar to a bottle of wine

or ladder,

we scale, we fall, we climb high and low,

setbacks and gratifications

Must be taken in stride,

never give up or lose your pride.













That’s Life

A world full of mystery and unknown,

revolving on an axis,

in completed domination.

The sun, a nuclear powerhouse

warms us voluntarily;

without control of what comes to pass or transpires.

Celestial bodies, including the nine planets,

objects full of mystery and

strange asteroids and comets, are free to roam,

on their own.

Yet, most people execute with pretense

regarding airplanes crashes, car accidents;

etc,

When they should be second worries.

We need to thank lucky stars

to survive the skies abundant amount of heavenly bodies.











OH HEAVENLY RAINBOW

Oh, heavenly rainbow shining so bright,

cast you luminary bodies of light

on me.

Splash me with warmth

your colors spray,

Ruby Red

Blue Topaz

and

Peridot.

Clear my eyes; so, I may see happier days.

You may even keep your pot of gold

legend holds.

Send me someone who will make me feel

I’m worth a million bucks:

send someone who will hold me

lonely or not.

Instill happiness and grant me
