Poem Artwork

Out of hibernation I do emerge,
but promise I will not splurge.
Boundaries must still be in play.
Even on this very special day.

As years pass from one to the next
This day requires some written text
Ignoring it is not an option for me
Because of someone special you see

Yes it is Fairy I speak of in this note,
fighting the tears stuck in my throat.
Tears because of welled up emotions,
that if released would cause commotions.

Fairy is a very special creature
Who was my friend and teacher
She taught me that Love does really exist
Something I would have otherwise missed

She taught me to fly above expectations,
and to experience loving tender relations.
She showed me the wonder of connection,
through her unconditional loving perfection.

Her heart was the purest I have ever seen
which humbled me like servant to Queen.
There has never been and never will be.
a creature as lovely and beautiful as she.

Her Voice was made from the finest violin
capturing and drawing you blissfully in.
Like a sirens song with only good intent
making you feel at home and content.

Before I say more than I’m allowed
And get my head stuck in this cloud
I should end with the reason for this note
To someone my heart I will forever devote

Happy Birthday to the Dearest Fairy in the World
And hope for you a life of good has unfurled.
In my thoughts you will always remain
Even in this small little Gumby brain
