I’ve been gone for a while
to try to recapture my style
It happened on the blackest night
a little after twilight

I was watching pokey and Goo
doing what they always do
Peering through the windows glass
I saw pokey expose his ---

I couldn’t help but gasp
when his little pony, she did clasp
My heart sank in the deepest well
knowing their passion I couldn’t quell

He must have seen me looking in
because he turned and began to grin
I quickly turned to run away
knowing I shouldn’t stay

It was then I felt the thud
and fell face first in the mud
my head was hit very hard
my legs felt like a ton of lard

I wound up suffering from a two week coma
all because of a tomato. It was a Roma.
Now my head is all but sauce
as I recoup from my loss

The last thing I could recall
was saying goodbye to you all,
but then the visions began to clear
and I remembered someone very dear

We were going to have a wonderful date
but my coma made me a bit late
Can she forgive my lapse of time
or my lame effort to make this rhyme

So if she will still have me
I will be as happy as can be
I promise to finally let go
of the one who hurt me so

But alas, due to my misfortune
I think I lost Sailor Neptune.

So to all of you out there
Learn this lesson with care
Give up what’s no longer yours
And begin to close those painful doors

Only then can you be happy and gay
Unlike this little lump of green clay
So in life’s garden of choice
Listen to you inner voice

And when your on a road you know
Watch out for a flying tomato
