Ancient Japanese religion.
SHINTO Ancient Japanese religion. Amorphous (without regular form) mix. Nature, Fertility, Divination, Hero worship, Shamanism. No real founder, No written scripture, No body of religious law. Kami's child. Shinto gods are called kami. The Sun Goddess Amaterasu is considered Shinto's most important kami. Sacred places: waterfalls, streams, mountains, sacred straw rope, stretched between the gateway, torii. Affirmations: Tradition and family Love of nature Physical cleanliness Matsuri. Thanks for sharing Sage. Love the pic and poem. It always amazed me the fact that Shinto as with other Japanese beliefs worship the elders as gods. They have great respect for their seniors.
