Oooo, yes... love the visual - both colour and viscosity. Reminds me of my fascination with molten wax. Same qualities. Love the repetition of "Her anxiety pours, the more I feed" and the concepts about how and when sand shines and the duality of the nature of such glass. For me, a poem within a poem starts at "Bead of my desire"; the flute to the gestalt of the stem, perhaps. Elegant and searing fluidity in this sequence of writes, Sage; each one swash-buckling in its way... like a blade through silk! TY Kate xx
