within granite & gneiss,
the details of geological motion
reveal earth's movement
and open us to the hardened sparkle of time
we lie down on its bed and become one with its design ...

Anything hard is priceless-look at diamonds. Hardest substance known (I believe that's correct), and a more expensive gem can't be found. Excellent metaphorical write, Sage!

Hang on a minute... I just had my sleeves rolled up for Yellow Flame... but good to see you on this Bronx beach rock as well, Sage... NOW we can really party!!
