Prefer Darkness???

I think most of us prefer darkness when we are down.

That is why the bars are dimly lit downtown.

But we know what good that does for a sick heart and a sad soul.

We must see the light of our Savior and forever be bold!

I also prefer darkness when I am down.

Where no one can see me and my face is hidden.

 I prefer darkness when I don't want anyone around.

I don't want to see all those people who hurt me so.

But when I come out of the dark and sunlight is exposed.

I feel the warmth of my Creator and once again I know.

The darkness is not really a good place to be.

With strength of the Lord I can choose light over darkness.

Yes, His light is what's truly best for you and for me.
