Godly Thoughts

I ride my bike through town around the beautiful grass manicured surroundings and past the towering palms along the way.

Godly thoughts come into focus about what can I do to make this a special day.

Godly thoughts come to mind about how to start the day by being extra kind.

There is no telling who I may encounter and what I might find.

Who do I bless?

Who shall I call?

Whom shall I see?

Thoughts of gratitude come to mind ever so clear to me.

I pass by downtown and I smell the aroma of fresh coffee in the morning air.

The smell of crispy bacon permeates from open restaurants dotted here and there.

I can bless the one who serves me today with an extra tip and leave them with a special prayer.

For it’s truly a blessing to be able to bless others, for the Spirit of the Lord is everywhere.
