Sometimes we just have to admit it! We can be WRONG in what we are thinking because the WORLD is NOT like Thee.

Sorry-I Was Wrong! I was wrong - as wrong as a bird brain flying in the air so carefree I was a stupid moron to think that most everyone thinks like me I was ignorant and blind to think that you could see like I see I think that - Open hearts and doors are the best way to be Sometimes we are burnt by others and suffer much pain There is not much I can say about that and so I will refrain But we all have a whole world to discover; a whole fresh new family It’s really up to you to welcome them; just try it one time and you will see There is truly love in abundance in our hearts and you will find We will welcome you with loving arms most anytime Once again, I was wrong - as wrong as a bird brain flying in the air so carefree Yes, I was a stupid moron to think that most everyone thinks like me Yes, I was ignorant and blind to think that you could see like I see I still remain knowing that - Open hearts and doors are the best way to be Love and Blessings, Me © 2013, John Michael Domino REFERENCE: Romans 12:10-11: Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.

Thanks for this - I've had to make similar admissions too many times, and sometimes I just really need to hear the other person say those words! It's so much easier to forgive someone else when they admit they were wrong, stupid, ignorant, blind, whatever - amazing how far a few words of sincere repentance will go toward erasing some of that pain. And when I am the one having to say those words, my apology is usually graciously welcomed with open arms, just like your poem says.

Hello John-
This is such a powerful write because it helps the one offended to "calm down". It,therefore, is an excellent piece to remember/use when someone has been wronged.
I can easily see huge walls coming down when someone repeats the lines of this poem with sincerity. Thank you for sharing it.
