Sometimes friends move away - then you never hear from them another day. Then some friends stop talking and will not respond even though you keep calling.
I had some relationships that simply vanished

People you truly care for just place you on ignore

I agree, you brought up a good point. Shutting down a relationship could be silent protest against Christians. So what can you do? Can't we all just get along?
Your complaint (nothing poetic about it) is quite common. Some people are turned off by a single word you say or write.
I know many people who have warmed after initially being turned off something that I said or did. If someone has very strong beliefs, they can get in the way of friendships. People do not want to hear constant ranting about beliefs that they don't hold.
