Well, I don't care what others do for a living, or vice-versa. If I accept someone as a friend, I accept the person, REGARDLESS of what job he/she does for a living. Friendship SHOULD NOT BE SET ON ANY CONDITIONS. Great poem, John!!

It's nice to have someone affirm one's actions. But there are a lot of people out there who like to burst balloons just for the sake of it. On the other hand, assigning some mythical being the responsibility for caring for what you do is like a kid having a imaginary friend. When we grow up, we leave such notions behind. That is, unless we are trapped in a cult, like religion.

I think the most important thing that one should do is examine what they are doing and steer toward the right. Regardless of what kind of "job" we do, it's most important that we (not what somebody else thinks) like what we are doing, and face the fact that the primary reason that we are doing what we are doing is to make money… The source of our survival unless we are dependent on others. It's okay just to make money to live… There's really nothing wrong with that… But it's better to be doing what we like to do, regardless of what it pays or what others think.
