Only a few weeks ago were touching more, feeling more and loving more.

THIS TOO SHALL PASS... It seems like only yesterday we hugged. THIS TOO SHALL PASS... A simple handshake, a slap on the hip THIS TOO SHALL PASS... Walking as one, close to the touch THIS TOO SHALL PASS.. A pat on the back that meant so much THIS TOO SHALL PASS... One day we'll recall as time goes by so fast THIS TOO SHALL PASS... AMEN, MY FRIEND...OUR GOD WILL CERTAINLY TAKE US THROUGH. AND AS THIS TIME PASSES... As the COVID-19 has forced us en masse to practice social distancing and self isolation, you have found some arresting words, that in a rhythmic pace of a verse turned the day-to-day monotony of imposed on us "new rules" into delightful novelty. Sending my love and virtual hug. Well done.

An interesting way to describe social distancing in the family. In the photo that needs to be straightened before posting it, fits the poem very well.

Unfortunately, my condition requires my partner to have close contact with me. My other caregiver will not be coming until this is all over.
