Why love metabolizes into a hard stone, growing and growing until malice comes with the false colors and that bright light to attract the gullible moths?
The mountain was there, stone faced,
don’t letting me know if it will be so hard
to climb over it, like an clumsy lover
that afterwards will roll to the other side.
The mountain was there, stone faced,
holding all four aces a poker player like,
daring my pair of deuces that never loses,
to commit to that one last climb, my life.
The mountain was there, stone faced,
showing now to my indecision, despite,
like a scorned woman thinking revenge,
after been tossed away by a weak man.
The mountain was there, stone faced,
challenging me to get on with the climb,
but I knew, she was like a black widow,
love for her was no more than one night.
The mountain was there, stone faced,
it wasn’t worth trying her to ride.

Georg, This is the mountain of sadness and neglect. Poem says so much about relationships. The reader can certainly relate to what you are saying through my own experience and watching others. Good Job!!
