That all is forgotten

Bob, I have moved on by necessity
And as you know that does not mean
That all is forgotten
Bob, My heart is sealed in your name and yet
I will not let you in.
You are a toxic force and a lethal element
Causing self destruction
I have little desire now to live to
A ripe old age and yet
I will not be your helpmate
For if I were to die, it is my choice
To help you do so is an abomination
I know you see with only one eye
That you live with slow suffocation
Your choices have made this so
Love is without question
Love is without guile and outside of reason
But I go on
On without a heart
On without a reason
Because the God that made me requires it
He alone has the finger
To pull the trigger
Still I do little to push away the reaper
For it can but bring relief. And
An end to the pain, the pain of missing
The pain I loved.

Spoken from the heart, that is what makes this poem so wonderful. An emotional, powerful and beautiful write.

A DEEP EMOTIONAL WORK...THE AGONY OF A LOVE RELATIONSHIP THAT MUST END. IT TELLS OF THE HARD TUGS AND PULLS AT ONE'S REASON FOR LIVING...WITHOUT THE 'ADDICTION' OF THE PAIN...WHICH HURT SO MUCH...BUT WHICH IS SO MISSED. ONE CANNOT DO THIS KIND OF 'DETOX' ALONE...BUT, THROUGH MUCH PRAYER AND FAITH IN AN ALL POWERFUL GOD, IT CAN BE DONE. YOU ARE NOT ALONE, SANDI...WE ALL STRUGGLE, OR HAVE STRUGGLED OR WILL STRUGGLE WITH SOMETHING OR SOMEONE THAT'S NEGATIVELY EFFECTING US, BUT WHICH IS NOT EASY TO END. HOWEVER, THE WORD OF GOD IS TRUE AND REMEMBER THE WORD SAYS, 'I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST THAT STRENGTHENS ME'. YOU AND GOD, CAN DO IT. THANKS FOR SHARING AND I AM PRAYING FOR YOU. GOD BLESS AND LOVE, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Quite a soul wrenching write. Clearly you have made the right decision, deeply within your being you know you are right and now at peace without him!

Much peace,love, and light,
Amber "V"
