This child of the 60's...young woman of the 70's
Full of life and dreams...
Now a woman much older and wiser
Still full of life and....
STILL A DREAMER
In moments past, I oft' believed,
Ideals and dreams, my thoughts conceived.
I questioned not validity
Nor gave credence as one naive;
Perhaps I tweaked stupidity.
I ventured forth without a clue
Bursting with youthful innocence;
Decisions made, mistakes not few,
Stumbling through choices' consequence.
And in the end, now here I stand
Upon the edge of moments past
Regretting not what fate had planned.
Still a dreamer and seeking truth-
Just as I did in days of youth.
Myrna, I believe I'm on the same journey lately..even in music I'm hearing the words to songs I listened to, but never really heard years ago. Is it words? How in touch we've become with them? Is it the words that make us dream or ask questions in an ever flowing path to where ever it is we are going? Oh my, you are making me think tonight!
Love, Taylor
Where would we be without a dream...I loved Dr. Martin Luther King's famous speech I Have A Dream...his vision has come to pass and is now reality, just as many other dreamers. I too dreamed of graduating college and becoming a teacher I now live that dream, I dream of becoming a published author..working on that...I dream of peace tranquility and heaven, working on that one too. Keep dreaming my dear friend, your write is beautiful and full of wisdom, forget the past because it is the past, move forward, where would we be without dreamers...the inability to dream is for those who do not believe! Great write.

Dream away, that's life, but one must not repeat the same mistakes. It is good that you do not regret your past, for the past is history and history is a lesson. Victor
I will venture that it took far more than poetic talent for you to write this...and after four long years... to post it for appraisal by your friends and fellow poets. I commend both. It is not a confession, but an honest statement of self worth. It reads eloquently... and deeply sincere. You should be justifiably proud of your life; back then, since then, and now. I am that proud to be your friend and supporter.

Nice work...a view of the past and the present as one travels through this journey of life seeking and testing the decisions of our own...nicely written display of ...poetry...
This is a book of free verse poetry that addresses the seven main tests in life and offers some sensible solutions to passing those tests with minimal discomfort.
“The woman or man who is a poet, or fiction writer, or playwright, or all of these, is engaged constantly in a jazz ballet of vocabularies, passions, genders, histories, perspectives, death, love, and life. The music of revelation announces itself to
