(In memory of my parents, Marie and Joseph Dupre'... who taught me what love was all about)
In spring's cradle love bloomed, timid lily
Not yet adorned with its petaled glory.
But we knew, you and I, reality...
Ours...was written in this untold story.
And as summer drew near and passion flamed
Vows were spoken, seasons forever claimed.
In summer's glee love danced its melody,
Arias sung to stars and midnight sky.
Chromatic sighs escaped, touched destiny,
And flew beyond dreams to be you and I...
Into the winds of time and autumn's chase
To waltz amid passion and promised grace.
In autumn's breeze love grew in season's drift,
Braved changing winds and in soft comfort laid
Its soul within muted whispers, a gift
Of brilliant hues exclaimed in faith displayed.
And you and I, we loved as winter's chill
Stole the breath of autumn and held time still.
In winter's sleep love warmed the telling frost
That settled upon time, its rhythm slowed
Capturing us, days spent and moments lost
To life's passage... but we were not sorrowed.
For we had lived and we had loved... and we
Had shared seasons of love's eternity.
Beautiful my friend, you have taken the reader through an entire year of magic, love, romance, and great inspirational writing. Great work!

This is poetry at it's best. The authour tells the life story of two who know the magic of romance and all it's ups and downs and offers it to the reader as an example of how things should be. Bravo.
Beautiful and tender in remembrance of your parents. How well you spell out the affect these two had o you. So many are unaware of hoe the love of parents affects theri love and llives. In this, you have chosen effectual words to tell how their world and conduct gave you a world in which to enjoy love. What an inheritance! So genurine and true to life ! ! !
