This piece is written in a form called a haibun. Although I am not very proficient using this form, I enjoy it and dabble in it every now and then.
Was Heard A Whisper
It was Spring. Discovery's season. A time of new breath, new hope. When rivers carried away Winter's tears. It was their time. And love grew. Blossomed into Summer. Fire of life burned as brightly as the sun. Passion flamed. Time melted into moonlight and bled into Autumn. Colored memories fell into the quiet. Scattered thoughts upon changing winds invited Winter. Cold fury. Killing frosts. Leaden skies wept an unrelenting litany of 'too soon'. It was mourning's season. Yet there was heard a whisper.
Tears fell from Heaven
Filling Time's flowing river
And Spring came again

How beautiful this is. Tears from Heaven time's flowing river spring again. This is wonderful no matter what form it's in. You are good at everything poetic dealing with life on life's terms. We are riding the currents.

This is a gorgeous piece about Renewal & rebirth after "mourning's season." I like the form to Myrna. This is quite a "dabble" alright. Excellent!
