Being legally blind means that I gather much imformation from what I hear and that is also a source of inspiration for me as I paint with words what I hear. When I find myself in the quiet I sometimes wonder what 'picture' I am not hearing....I hope you enjoy...
Time's Brush
in the absolute stillness there lies a darkness, a quiet shadow that lingers in sadness, colorless moments
void of sound, no whispered wind or off-key lullaby to paint the sky with stars, no arias of sunset
or hymns of morning to blush the sun and color the moon ... in this profound silence I lay time's brush against my soul and I wait ...
I wait for the music that lights the darkness and paints the stars and I wait for the songs that fill the brush of my imagination...
