Another tankabun inspired by the beautiful weekend we had here in Louisiana and also by a phrase shared by a friend...:)

Clear Blue

This autumn morning
My soul breathes of clear blue
And fading sunrise
A sparrow sings, warbling hymns
Celebrating perfect sky

How glorious it is... this sky... this moment!  Golden sun entwines its warmth within hesitant winds... its gilded touches, light, almost fairy-like, innocent.  I wonder if perhaps the artist of such clear blue knew this is what today needed, or if it would have been painted anyway.  It matters not really for I will enjoy it all the same.  Ah, listen to the sparrow's song!  I want to sing! Sing... even if I do not know the words.  I believe neither artist nor sparrow will mind....

Myrna,
What a celebration of all that's natural! And your style of telling is fluent and intimate and draws us in beautifully to share with you.
It is indeed singing.
