Whispers

This poem is dedicated to those who have left us, espeically for my brother Donald N. Dupre' who passed away on December 2, 2009.. RIP my brother!

Whispers

Slipping between shadows

Are the moments I leave to
Evening's song, those thoughts of
You that linger look after day fades
Into twilight, easing into slumber...

And the whispers heard settle softly
Upon heart and soul, soothing the ache
Of loss that comes with letting go.
