Comfort
silence, a seamstress of quiet dignity,
embraces us in cloaks of assurance,
stitched with threads of hesitant beginnings,
seamed in patchwork endings, and like that writer
in search of words to lay upon a page, allowing
them to flee into a world demanding their thoughts,
seeking their voice and curiosity, silence, too, must
create, spilling itself into empty spaces, filling voids with
new truths, forgotten wisdom, secrets revealed,
and a comfort that only it can sometimes bring.

"it spills itself into empty spaces, filling voids with
new truths, forgotten wisdom, secrets revealed"
This poetry resounds.
I think the elipses are a distraction, but the lines have a depth
and beauty of language that makes this more than just an ordinary poem.
