A new tankabun from the old keyboard.. hope you enjoy!

Porcelain

milky clouds gather
above painted horizons
dawn breaks, morning sings
within skies of porcelain
spilling blue across my dreams

Night tiptoes softly, slipping away into its own sky. Its final whisper of song echoes within its shadowed descent. Sun and moon play their game of 'follow the leader'. Ah, sweet morning!  I close my eyes and try to imagine day's debut, night's departure, and the colors blending, mingling, spilling into each other, in this celestial portrait.  I do not need to see it to know it is beautiful. The stilled breath caught between day's aria and night's concerto, the kiss of breeze, the touch of time upon my soul, tell me it is.  I breathe deeply of the moment, embracing its constancy, its gift of continuance, its promise in blue and milky white. I am grateful for its porcelain goodness. I am content in its shadow. I am joyful in its light.
I am... at peace.

I found my peace also, Myrna. Something I never thought I would achieve, but I did. I am grateful, as this tankabun tells me that the same gratefulness goes for you.

Dan's said it, a gorgeous piece of writing;
such elegance of thought and expression, your
trademarks.
Absolutely first rate, Myrna.
