Sharing something I wrote in memory of my late husband...
I Believe (in loving memory of my husband John on the
anniversary of his death (April 19, 2004) and our 38th wedding anniversary...April 19, 1975
You were my moments of azure,
my shelter of midnight, an indigo dream
when I needed something to believe in.
You were the rock that my mossy
veil of emotion could cling to, the shoulder
I could cry on, the arms that held me
in times of struggle.
You have heard me when I called to you
with lifted voice, have let me feel your
presence within me, and loved me even as we said goodbye. You have let me see that your belief in me remains strong, your faith in me remains constant...and your footsteps walk
alongside mine as I travel this road
of continuing.
You are loved and missed and I believe I could not have continued without you
guiding me onward...
just as you always promised
you would.
Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
