I have been away for some time...and I will explain why at a later time. I hope you enjoy this piece.. Myrna
My Way I am often asked "What is it like to be almost blind?" And "How do you use your other senses?" After much thought, I believe I have my answers. Being blind is.... Hearing the whisper of stars, Taating the flavors of time, Touching the colors of love, Inhaling the scent of life... It is simply...seeing it all my way.

I really liked the flavor of this. Your words ring a resonance with me as I lose my hearing and know that at some point I may be like my mother, unable to hear even with the strongest hearing aid. I'm grateful that my myopia and astigmatism is easily corrected by eyeglasses and that I have no sign of cataracts� Yet. We all have to make use of all of our faculties that we have left. You have not lost your faculty to write well, especially poetry, and I love that.
