If it seems too good!

I have occupied a place on this planet Earth for sixty-four years

And there is a lesson I have long since learned to live by.

If a situation seems too good to be true the chances are it is and I do not lie.

Don’t get caught up in situations that seem almost like a wonderful dream

Because you can believe me when I say things are not always what they seem.

So when you see a state of affairs that looks just so good and so right

Take a few minutes to scrutinize and draw your insight.

If you do this you may save many a disappointment

And in this way you grow and learn from enlightenment.

If it seems too good to be true , it is.  This I have learned in my life.

The only exception for me, of course is my wife.
