Have you never wondered how those girls of the wild west stayed so beautiful?

Poem Artwork

It was Saturday morning and I turned on my TV

They were showing an old John Wayne movie for me to see

It was hot outside and my energy was low

So I thought I would just relax and enjoy the show

There is something about these old westerns that I noticed long ago

And I noticed it again as I watched and tried to justify it but try as I may

I simply cannot explain how those beautiful girls in the old west could stay that way

They rode horses and milked cows and were sometimes abused

You would swear that they would have scares and their arms would be bruised

But, no they would not have one hair out of place

And there would be no blemish on their pretty little face

One would swear their hands would be calloused from the rough life they were living

However even their lipstick never smeared and they never showed the wear and tear from the services they were giving

They were always the perfect beauty down to the last details

Right down to the perfectly trimmed and polished fingernails
