There are brief phrases that we use often without thinking what we are saying. Sometimes the chances of "seeing" someone are very rare, and sometimes circumstances get in the way. Making commitments we never will make.

Girl Waving gif at Tenor.com See Ya When parting I always blurted, "See ya," as you left the room or out the door. It never dawned on me what I meant, except that I would see you once more. It didn't matter who you were, a new acquaintance or long lost friend. The simple phrase, "See ya," just put our visit to an end. A smile, a wave, farewell or goodbye, "See ya," filled the bill of why. Now when the days of this life grow short, and thoughts of seeing others again lose sight, farewells, goodbyes and good wishes still, bring new meaning to "See ya's" light. So the next time you utter the phrase, "Let's make some time for lunch?" You had better set a time and date, or "See ya," won't stand for much. Copyright © Ronald W. I REALLY DON'T THINK MUCH ABOUT IT. I MEAN, 'SEE YA' IS SPREADING IT BROAD FOR ME, LEAVING A LOT OF ROOM. BECAUSE TO ME, IN A NUTSHELL, IT MEANS; 'TIL WE MEET AGAIN. IT LEAVES THINGS OPEN, NOT SETTING A DATE, BUT, SOONER OR LATER...WE WILL PROBABLY SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN. NOTHING, 'PUSHY'...JUST, SEE YA. THANKS FOR SHARING, RONALD. "See Ya," works just fine with me. It say what is needed to be said. No sense going into a thirty minute speech as you are trying to leave.

I chose the gif of Pennywise waving a severed arm because it is Halloween� Click on the link for many other gifs of people waving, "see ya."

I will change it back to something funny next week so that you will no longer be puzzled by why I chose that particular animation.

Yes Ron, "see ya", has long been the parting words many of us casually employ, without serious thought. Lately, for the past ten years or more I say, when are we going to get together again for lunch/dinner or whatever and we set a firm time and place. With my friends and I, all seniors(old folks), we try to make those occasions frequently knowing our time for them is limited.
