I don't know how anyone can respond to your Song on a Thong except as a sing-along after K^2 brought his wrecking ball to bear on your dainty subject. Oh well, you probably can't put a thong on a sing-a-long any way you try.
Truly enduring to the reader who is tired of the dead serious, worry worting brand of poetry practiced by so many. Who doesn't like to be titillated and humored at the same time… Nobody.

Actually, and I am somewhat loathe to point this out, given the appeal and skillful treatment of your subject, this area of...er, interest...was 'covered' rather brilliantly over a hundred years ago by violinist August Wilhelmj in his 1871 arrangement of the second movement of Johann Sebastian Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major (BWV 1068), when he naughtily composed his immortal 'Air on a G-String'. [One has to wonder whose G-string (a sympathetic cousin of the modern thong, of course) he was inspired by, naturally.] At that time it was a flesh new approach to the concept, no ifs, and/or butts about it! And then there was that equally famed, traditional Irish melody, 'London derrière' (one can't help but wonder whose IT referred to...). I could go on, but I'll spare you any further off-color cracks (it's actually what the Irish refer to as a 'Craic', you see).
OK. I've had my fun, now. In all seriousness, this is a dandy little gem you've set before us, Alan. Most enjoyable. Well rounded and really peachy! A tome that does full justice to those lovely posterior/inferior (pardon my resorting to medical-anatomical terminology) XX mounds that so attract and entice all true brothers of the XY persuasion! Lets have more 'thung-in-cheekiness' like this one, eh!
