Peter, the Apostle once attempted to walk on water. His motivation? to join Jesus, who was walking toward him on the waves of the sea. His faith took him over the side of the boat, but when he took his eyes off the Lord Jesus, he began to sink.
How often the storms of our circumstances cause us to look around and focus on the ocean waves of adversity when what we really need to do is keep our eyes on Jesus.
Don't be afraid to come, My child, however fierce your storms may be; I'm reaching out My hand to you -- Take courage now and come to Me.
Look deep into My loving eyes, hear the compassion in My voice; Look up and see that it is I -- the storm will pass; you will rejoice.
Don't heed the angry winds that blow or fear the churning waves you see; My mighty power will prevail -- Lift up your eyes and come to Me.
I'm always near to rescue you when doubts and fears your heart assail; Just fix your eyes on Me, My child -- I am your Lord -- I will not fail!
"Lord, if it's You, tell me to come to You on the water." (Matthew 14:28 NIV)
this is so soft and loving and the open arms so inspiring...
it is like a song of sorts, a lullaby, a chorus of hope, for a child of any age...beautiful, simply beautiful and written with such depth of heart and hope it is quite beautiful and its call echoes through the difficulties one faces...
thank you,

It is five years since Delta Force stopped a deadly missile attack in the Middle East. Now team leader Jason Patrick is living a quieter life in North Carolina with his family, stationed at Fort Bragg.
But that is about to change when a new,
Boom! Pain! Blackness!
After an RPG attack on their barracks in Afghanistan, corpsmen, Amber Fox, Luke Owens , Wade Scott and Ross Miller wake up in an Army hospital in Germany.
Thus, begins a months long recovery for all of them. A
