When you're going through big trials
and you don't know how to cope,
call a friend and ask for prayers--
God will hear and give you hope.
Dear Ed needs our prayers right now,
He's had many trials--and how!
Let us seek God's best for Ed
until he's well and out of bed!
Overlook the poor efforts of this poem, but don't overlook the needs of Ed Matlack in his gall bladder surgery today.
Dear Lord, our God and Father,
Please hear our prayers for Ed Matlack, and bring him through this surgery with the best results possible. Touch his body, Father, and heal him according to your will.
Please help Allen to be an encouragement and a blessing to Ed, Your own vessel to convey Your love and Your desire to be His closest Friend, Savior and Lord.
I pray in Jesus' wonderful name. Amen.

Wondered where Ed has been, thanks for letting me know. That man has had more problems!
Lord Jesus,
Please look after Ed ... we worry about him when he's not here. Which has been far too long. Guide the surgeon's hands, let there be NO complications, before, during or after the surgery; let him heal and ease his pain. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen and Amen.
